European Health Summit Rare Disease Edition in Madrid

On 10 November 2026, the European Health Summit: Rare Diseases Edition will take place at the European Parliament Office in Madrid, Spain. Organised by European Business Summits in close partnership with the Spanish Ministry of Health, the event will bring together policymakers, patient representatives, clinicians, researchers and industry leaders to discuss the future of rare disease policy.

The Summit will connect Spain’s experience and national priorities with the wider European agenda, exploring how cooperation can strengthen responses to the needs of people living with rare diseases. It will provide a space for dialogue across research, healthcare and policy, bringing different perspectives into a shared discussion on progress and the challenges ahead.

For ERAMET, these discussions are closely relevant to the project’s mission to support the development and assessment of orphan and paediatric medicines through modelling and simulation, artificial intelligence and real-world data. Connecting scientific advances with the needs of policymakers, healthcare professionals and patients is an essential part of building an ecosystem that supports better-informed decisions.

Members of the ERAMET consortium are warmly invited to participate. The event offers an opportunity to contribute their expertise, exchange perspectives with the wider rare diseases community and build connections that can inform the project’s ongoing work and stakeholder engagement.
