On March 31st and April 1st, the ERAMET project held its second Face-to-Face Consortium Meeting, bringing together representatives from all partner institutions involved in the initiative. Hosted at the University of Warwick, the two-day event provided a valuable opportunity for both collaborative work and relationship-building among the consortium members.
The first day kicked off with an introductory session titled “Setting the Scene – the ERAMET Ecosystem: Vision and Perspectives”, offering a broad overview of the project’s objectives and long-term impact. This was followed by a series of presentations from the Work Package (WP) leaders, who shared updates on their progress over the past year. Key achievements, initial results, and goals for the upcoming months were discussed, setting a clear roadmap for the next phase of the project.
The agenda included:
An overview of the Communication and Dissemination Plan
WP3 – Tools Development (SRLab and UoW)
WP2 – Repository and Standards Development (led by UNamur, UV, MEB-UG, and SRLAB)
Use Cases and WP4–6 updates (UNICT, Certara, UCL, and FB)
The second day of the meeting shifted focus towards strategic planning. Discussions centred around project milestones, key deliverables, and next steps—particularly the preparation for the Periodic Report due in June. The consortium also reviewed the project’s current budget status and planned financial considerations.
This in-person meeting marked a significant step in strengthening collaboration across the ERAMET network, ensuring alignment among all partners as the project continues to move forward.
