XVII Foresight training Course | From research to access: how does Europe speed up the availability of medicines for unmet needs? | 3-4 November | Online

ERAMET Project partner, Fondazione per la ricerca Farmacologica Gianni Benzi Onlus, will host the XVII edition of the Foresight Training Course, titled “From research to access: how does Europe speed up the availability of medicines for unmet needs?”.

The course will focus on  the current status and advancements of clinical trials aimed at addressing unmet medical needs. Discussions will explore innovative methodologies, regulatory challenges, and the involvement of adolescents in clinical trials.

The programme will review the state of art in funding strategies and investments, including public incentives and public–private funds at EU, national and regional levels.

Furthermore, access-related issues such as joint procurement, national policies, health technology assessment (HTA), and patient involvement in decision-making and access procedures will be covered.

The event will feature keynote speakers from regulatory authorities, academia, patient and industry representatives and other relevant stakeholders.
